Recipe #163 Caramels

Caramels (Kayla)

1 c. cream
1 c. half and half
Combine and warm on stove
½ tsp salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. corn syrup
½ c. butter (little at a time)
Cook together until 240°, stirring constantly. Then add 1 ½ tsp. vanilla. Place in greased 9x11 in. pan. Cool, cut and wrap.
